Description
Introduced in 1947, the Vulcain Cricket has an interesting history, being worn by US Presidents Truman, Eisenhower, Johnson and several of their senior White House residents. A true period watch, this President reference from the 1950s measures 42 mm in diameter with a domed crystal and a dial with dauphine hands. The watch's V-21 automatic movement features a built-in alarm system, which is marked by white 10, 30 and 50 designations around the dial's outer track. In addition, the integrated alarm system recalls Vulcain's caliber 120, an in-house developed movement that launched the concept in 1942.
